The Borough of Bogota is a community of family, friends and business. The borough located within 30 minutes of Manhattan and has a population of approximately 8,300 residents.

Bogota is conveniently located to major highways including Interstate 80 and Route 4. Its is a short ride to the George Washington Bridge and New York City. There are several pizza shops and resturants throughout the town. Dowtown Bogota has several shops as well as many businesses. The is also located by many large retail shops and major shopping malls.
 
Bogota Public Schools are known for excellence. Schools within the district are E. Roy Boxby School and Lillian M. Steen School, which serve students from kindergarten through sixth grade. Bogota High School, with a 2005 enrollment of 496 students, serves all students in seventh grade through twelfth grade. In addition to Bogota Public Schools, Saint Joseph’s School, a Roman Catholic parochial school, is located in Bogota. Saint Joseph’s educates students from kindergarten through eighth grade.
